Fiscal Year 2025–2026 · How Your Generosity Was Used
Look at what we're doing together.
Whether you have given to Trinity Chapel for years or you are reading this having never given before, this is for you. What God is doing here is remarkable, and there is a place for you in it.
Everything in these pages, the kids learning about truth, the students being sent out with purpose, the families helped through a crisis, the missionaries carrying hope around the world, is made possible by ordinary people who choose to give. We handle every gift with prayer, wisdom, and complete transparency, and we are honored to show you exactly where it goes.
If you already give, thank you. You are the reason all of this is possible. And if you have never given, we would love for you to take that first step. Generosity is simply how we join what God is doing here, and the best is yet to come.
Growth & Kingdom impact.
Behind every number is a person. This year our church family grew past 600 people, welcomed 17 new members, and celebrated 21 people publicly declaring their faith through water baptism. And in February 2026 we launched a second campus in Shelbyville. All of it fueled by your generosity, and all while remaining fully debt-free and sending $70K to missions around the world.
Attendance and ministry figures reflect Trinity Chapel's monthly reports (October 2025–June 2026); giving reflects year-to-date contributions across the General and Missions funds.
Real life change.
Your giving doesn't just fund a budget. It disciples kids, grows students, sends help around the world, and meets real needs at home. Here is some of the fruit behind the figures.
TC Kids
Our children's ministry, birth through 5th grade136 children are growing in their faith through TC Kids this year, on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and at summer VBS, learning about truth, navigating hardships, sincerity, and generosity.
TC Students
Our ministry for middle school, high school & college studentsThis year our students learned to live with purpose, lean on the Holy Spirit, and be encouragers in the world around them. And they are being sent out well: your giving fully funded two full-ride college scholarships and partial awards for several more graduating seniors, thousands of dollars invested directly in the next generation's future and calling.
Small Groups & Serve Teams
Weekly groups, mainly on Wednesday nights, plus our serve teams249 people are connected in our small groups and serve teams, giving their time on Sundays and throughout the week to love our church and our community.
Missions & Outreach
Supporting relief and faith workers, locally and around the worldTogether we support 25 missionaries this year, serving here in our city, across the country, and around the world, carrying help and hope far beyond our walls.
Benevolence
Direct help for families facing a financial crisisThis year we gave nearly $47,000 to come alongside families in our community facing real hardship, with help for needs like rent, groceries, and utilities in Jesus' name.
Figures reflect Trinity Chapel's ministry records for the current fiscal year (October 2025 through today).
Where the money goes.
Here is how every dollar given to Trinity Chapel was used this year (October 2025 through today). Our fiscal year runs October through September.
| Category | Trinity Chapel | Healthy Range** |
|---|---|---|
| Salaries & Staff | 57% | 45–55% |
| Operations & Facilities | 25% | 20–30% |
| Ministry & Programs | 10% | 10–15% |
| Missions & Outreach* | 8% | 10–15% |
Trinity Chapel figures are FY 2025–2026 year-to-date actuals across the General and Missions funds; totals may vary slightly due to rounding. *Local, national & global missions. **Widely-cited healthy-budget ranges for a church of roughly 300–315 weekly attendees (Vanderbloemen; Leadership Network data via Church Answers). As a fully debt-free church, Trinity Chapel reinvests in people what many churches spend on debt service, so a staff share near the top of the range is expected.
Financial integrity & accountability.
We follow biblical principles of stewardship, ensuring every resource is managed responsibly and for God's purposes.
Our finances are reviewed every month by our Finance Committee and Deacon Board, providing consistent oversight and transparency.
We maintain checks and balances that separate the handling and approval of funds, with no single person controlling the process.
Trinity Chapel is completely debt-free, funding ministry and facilities based on the pace of giving, so more of every gift goes directly to the mission.
An honest look ahead.
Our budget need for the year is $731,000, and our fiscal year ends September 30. Here is exactly where we stand.
We want to be transparent. Our regular tithes and offerings are projected to finish the year around $695,000, which is about $36,000 short of our budget. This year we were also blessed with an extraordinary one-time gift of $100,000, which brings our total giving to $795,000.
We are deeply grateful for that gift. But a blessing like that comes only once, so it is our steady, week-to-week giving that carries the ministry year after year. That is where we are praying to grow together.
With that kind of steady, growing generosity, here is some of what we could do together:
Grow both our Louisville and Shelbyville campuses and reach even more people across our city with the hope of Jesus.
Disciple even more kids and students, building on the 136 children we reached this year.
Increase our support for the 25 missionaries we stand behind, helping them keep serving as inflation stretches their budgets too.
Help more families in crisis and build a healthy savings reserve, so the church stays strong and secure for years to come.
There's room for you.
Every story in this report began with someone deciding to give. Whether this would be your very first gift or your most generous yet, it goes straight to work: discipling a child, supporting a missionary, and keeping a family in their home.
You don't have to be a member, and no gift is too small. Come be part of what God is doing at Trinity Chapel.
